After playing in the NFL for 10 years, Mike Barber started Mike Barber Ministries in 1986. Based in Houston, Texas, his ministry travels all over the country to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the incarcerated community, with the goal of making a difference in our neighborhoods, cities, nation and the world.
Mike’s son, Brandon Barber, is the president of MBM and shares the same passion for helping people as his father. Brandon has been in full-time ministry for 18 years, serving as the founding pastor—along with his wife, Kristen—of Elevate People in Houston. Additionally, he launched the Texas Dream Center to impact the local community with God’s love through outreach. Brandon and Kristen have four children.
